I believe every woman needs a self care day. Mines is every Wednesday evening and it involves me loving & pampering myself. I will tell you step by step on how my relaxing evening.
Some days are just too much for me to handle, and it’s not healthy for me to breakdown in front of my children. Some times I may be battling depression, anxiety, and panic attacks all day. I always start a hour after I put my children to bed.
Paint your nails. When I look pretty then I feel pretty.
Play Sims 4. After I’m done my mani & pedi I typically enjoy playing video games for a few hours.
Face Mask. There’s nothing wrong with going all out and having a designated day where I do my skin care routine.
Draw a nice bubble bath or lush bath. Baths can be really relaxing and they take your mind off of the stressful day you just had.
Read a good book. Some times entering into another world eases your mind from reality.
Glass of wine. Wine cures everything lol. Since I’m already relaxed & getting close to bed, I like to ease my mind with a nice glass of wine.
